This is the prettiest Bubble Cut I've ever seen.
She does have a pin prick on her cheek, but she will make an absolutely
gorgeous display doll. She has a huge head of hair!
It's dark brunette, angled to the side so that one eyebrow peaks out and
it's just beautiful.I can't be sure, because I don't know what happened
with her make-up before I took possession of her, but because of the color,
I'm going to say her lips are probably not original. There's also a
smudge, but they still look yummy on display. Her eyebrows definitely
look original and they're in perfect shape.
She has a pin prick on her left cheek. You can see it on the
close-up photo of her face below. You can't really see it well on the
photo or on display, but it does show looking closely at her.
She has one earring hole on the right and a small slit on the left,
rather than a hole. I posted a photo of her left ear and it didn't
show up on the photo, but I wanted to show that there's not a big rip or a
gapping hole. It's actually smaller than a normal earring hole and
it's simply a small slit instead of a round hole. And while you're
looking at that photo of her ear, look at her hu-mong-o bubble from the
side!
She's one of the the second issue Bubble Cuts issued from 1962 to 1967 so
she's on a Midge/Barbie body. The body is very pretty and dainty with
a graceful stance. All the limbs hold poses, small spots here and
there, nothing major, and there is play wear. The arms are a bit
darker, but it's not nearly as pronounced as it looks in the photos.
She has about 95% fingernail polish left and 80% toenail polish.
She comes wearing a reproduction Red Flare coat with the Silken Flame
dress underneath. She's really a gorgeous Bubble Cut, and I don't say
that very often.
